Human: A Collection of Poetry
For some of us, writing is not just a hobby but a way of being. There are things we experience, as humans, and feelings that we feel as humans that must be written about. We might feel love, jealousy, depression, heartbreak, longing, grief, and hope. And while we might write about feelings and human experience in novels, we can also write about them through poetry. I’ve never written poetry for the public eye; I’ve written it only for myself, as a way of delving into those feelings and expressing them. My hope is that sharing my poetry might be able to inform someone that they are not alone, and that the things we feel, experience, and discover are a part of what makes us human
