her story

Olivia Reich has been writing since she was a child. When she was five, she drew a purple cat, which she named Bib, and wrote a short story about him. She continued to write both short and longer pieces throughout elementary and middle school, even completing multiple unpublished novels.

During her freshman year of high school, she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. She used writing as a coping mechanism and began to write "100 Reasons" at age 14, and she continued to write the book, along with poetry pieces, throughout her own struggle with mental health.

When she finished the book during her junior year, she tracked down editors and other self-published authors to get on the right path to publishing, leading her to publish "100 Reasons" during her senior year of high school.

She is now a college student and still regularly reflects on her writing.

She is now writing her second book and hopes to publish it at some point within the next two years.
